Poland is one of four nations - along with Ireland, Bulgaria and Luxembourg – that are most in favour of the EU1. However, at a closer look it turns out that we should understand such findings in our own way. When asked benefits of membership, most of us talk about EU funds, free movement of people – because one can work all over Europe. However, when we ask about values that could unite us and give us a direction, a clear dividing line appears - we read in the publication prepared by the Centre for International Relations for the European Commission entitled "What do Poles think about the European Union?".
